We distribute nineteen Perlove digital radiography systems in the Philippines. The model number tells you almost nothing about what each one does — it folds together three separate decisions, and they do not move together. Here is how to shortlist in about four minutes.

The one that cannot be undone

The detector decides what the machine can do, and it cannot be changed later. Nine of the nineteen are radiography only. Nine capture motion at up to 30 fps — that is what makes fluoroscopy and contrast studies possible. One uses an image intensifier rather than a flat panel. A static panel will never perform a barium swallow, however much you spend on the generator.

Not sure which group you need? Tell us the studies you run and we will name the models that can do them.

The detector decides what the machine can do

Nineteen systems, three capability groups

  • 9 radiography only — single exposures
  • 9 dynamic — motion at up to 30 fps, so fluoroscopy and contrast studies
  • 1 image intensifier — not a flat panel at all

The panel cannot be retrofitted. This is the decision you cannot walk back.

The mounting does not tell you which group a model belongs to. The PLD7900I is floor-mounted and dynamic; the PLD6500E is floor-mounted and static. On the ceiling range the PLD7100A and PLD7100G are static, while the PLD7600C and PLD7600J are dynamic. Same rails, same room, different clinical scope.

One outlier: the PLD5600A is the only system that images through an image intensifier and CCD camera, and the only one still loading cassettes (8″×10″ to 14″×17″). It does radiography and fluoroscopy on one table and suits a facility that mainly needs barium work — but it is a different imaging chain, not a cheaper flat panel.

Generator power buys exposure time, not sharpness

The power ladder

More power delivers the same mAs in a shorter exposure — it matters for large patients, pediatrics, and chest work where motion blur is the failure. It does not make the image finer. That is pixel pitch.

Power and capability are separate axes

The PLD7100G has the larger 85 kW generator and a static detector. The PLD7600C has the smaller 65 kW generator and a dynamic one. More power, narrower scope. If you need fluoroscopy, the 65 kW machine is the correct purchase and the 85 kW machine is the wrong one.

“17 × 17 inch” is not a single specification

Two panels, one label

  • 139 µm → 3072² → ~9.4 MP → 3.6–3.7 lp/mm
    PLD5900A, PLD6500E
  • 100 µm → ~4K² → ~18 MP → up to 5.0 lp/mm
    PLD7600C

Both generations are sold as 17″×17″ panels of roughly 43 × 43 cm. Same panel size, roughly double the pixel count.

“18 million effective pixels” describes the 100 µm panel; a 3072 × 3072 matrix describes the 139 µm one. Several models come in both — specify which one you are quoting, or you may be comparing two different machines under one name.

Check your electrical supply before you shortlist anything

What each model needs

This is the specification that most often delays commissioning in the Philippines, and it rules models out faster than any imaging figure.

If the site has no three-phase service, that single line removes most of the fixed-room range before image quality is ever discussed. Check it first, not last.

Send us your room and your supply. We will come back with the models that fit it and the room-planning figures to go with them.

The nineteen models

Mobile — brought to the patient

Wards, ICU, theatres and isolation areas where the patient cannot travel.

Floor-mounted fixed rooms

A permanent radiography room. All three drop the tube to about 35 cm for weight-bearing work.

Ceiling-suspended

The gantry frees floor space and reaches table, wall stand, wheelchair and trolley from one tube.

Multi-function DRF tables

Radiography and fluoroscopy in one room. This is where contrast and GI work lives.

Dynamic DR with a lifting table

Motion studies and static radiography without swapping panels.

Vehicle-mounted

Outreach and screening programs, built for the vibration of a moving vehicle.

Scroll the table sideways to see every column.

Figures above are the manufacturer's published specifications for each configuration. Where a value is not published for a model it is shown as “not stated” rather than estimated. In the detector column, “static” is used only where the manufacturer states it; “radiography only” indicates a model for which no dynamic or fluoroscopic capability is published. Final configuration is confirmed in writing before order.

Shortcuts

  • You need fluoroscopy or contrast studies. Only the nine dynamic-detector systems and the PLD5600A can do it. Everything else is out, at any budget.
  • You have no three-phase supply. Start with the PLD5900A and the mobile units.
  • The patients cannot come to the machine. Mobile range; choose the PLX5200 (50 kW) if mains power is unreliable.
  • You want the finest detail available. Ask for the 100 µm panel option, not a bigger generator.
  • Floor space is the constraint. Ceiling-suspended, provided the room can take the overhead rails.
  • You run outreach or screening programs. PLD3800B, configured to your vehicle.

What is included

Osyali Construction and Trading, Inc. is an authorized distributor of Mindray, Perlove, Lepu, Medsinglong and Sonka in the Philippines. Every system here ships as a complete set with computer — generator, tube, detector, stand or table and the acquisition workstation — with nationwide delivery, installation and commissioning, operator training, and after-sales service, calibration and parts. X-ray installation requires Philippine FDA registration and radiation-facility licensing; our team can advise on the documentation.
