Specifications & details+
The Perlove PLX5200 Mobile Digital X-ray machine (50KW) is a motorized, battery-powered mobile digital radiography (DR) system built for point-of-care imaging. It is designed to be brought directly to the patient, enabling radiographic exposures in wards, the ICU, emergency and outpatient departments, operating rooms, and hospital corridors where moving a patient to a fixed X-ray room is impractical. It is intended for use by a qualified, trained radiographer, technologist, or physician on adult and pediatric patients for radiographic imaging of the skull, spine, chest, abdomen, and the extremities.
Key features and specifications
- High-frequency generator: 50 kW split high-frequency, high-voltage generator for stable output across a wide range of exam positions.
- Exposure parameters: tube voltage 40–150 kV; tube current 10–500 mA.
- X-ray tube: large-heat-capacity rotating-anode tube (anode heat capacity 161 kJ / 240 kHU) for efficient heat dissipation and extended continuous operation; supports exposure times as short as approximately 1 ms.
- Wireless flat-panel detector: 14" x 17" (35 x 43 cm) wireless detector using cesium iodide + amorphous silicon, with a 3k x 3k pixel matrix and 16-bit grayscale for fine tissue detail.
- Powered mobility: dual-motor drive with separate battery systems for movement and exposure, allowing smooth, single-operator repositioning around the ward.
- Supercapacitor exposure power: a dedicated supercapacitor powers the exposure and recharges quickly (full charge in approximately 10 minutes), reducing reliance on a continuous mains connection.
- Mains input: operates on 110V / 220V power for charging.
- Flexible positioning: motorized column with wide-range rotation and a telescoping arm; tube head rotates ±180° without dead angle; ultrasonic source-to-image distance measurement with digital SID display assists positioning.
- Dual exposure control: handbrake (tethered) exposure mode and wireless remote-control exposure mode.
- Dose management: dose-control technology that adjusts exposure settings to the body region and patient size.
- Connectivity: DICOM 3.0 support for integration with PACS and hospital imaging workflows.
