Lepu NA2288

The Lepu NA2288 is a fully automated nucleic acid extractor from Lepu Medical, supplied in the Philippines by Medisense (Osyali Construction & Trading, Inc.) as an authorized distributor. It is a benchtop molecular-biology instrument that automates the extraction and purification of DNA and RNA from biological samples using magnetic-bead chemistry. It is intended for clinical laboratories, molecular diagnostic facilities, research institutions, and PCR/qPCR workflows that need a consistent, walk-away sample-preparation step ahead of downstream amplification and detection.

Operated through a touchscreen with one-touch start, the NA2288 runs the full extraction sequence automatically: sample lysis, nucleic acid binding to magnetic beads, washing, and elution. By standardizing these manual pipetting steps, it is designed to reduce hands-on labor and run-to-run variability while limiting operator exposure during processing. It is part of Lepu Medical's nucleic acid extraction line, alongside the Nexor 32, Nexor 96, CH196, and NA4424 systems.
