The Perlove PLX118WF is a mobile C-Arm system with Dynamic detector, built around a large-size amorphous-silicon (a-Si) dynamic flat panel detector (FPD) in place of a conventional image intensifier. It is intended for use by trained medical professionals in operating rooms and procedure suites that require real-time intraoperative fluoroscopy and digital radiographic imaging, supporting departments such as orthopedic and joint surgery, spine surgery, trauma, pain management, general surgery, urology, and gastroenterology.
What the device does
The PLX118WF acquires live fluoroscopic and still radiographic images during procedures and displays them on a dual-monitor mobile workstation. Its 9" x 9" dynamic flat panel detector is designed to give a wider field of view than a conventional 9" image intensifier, with high grey-scale depth, low image noise, and reduced geometric distortion. Images are processed in real time and shown on the workstation for the operating team to view during the procedure. A high-frequency (HF) generator with VFP technology, operating at approximately 110 kHz, includes a selectable low-dose imaging mode intended to help manage the radiation output used to produce each image.
