Perlove PLX119C C-Arm system with Dynamic detector

The Perlove PLX119C (Wiseye PLX119C) is a mobile, all-in-one surgical C-arm X-ray system built around a large 30 cm × 30 cm dynamic flat-panel detector. It is intended to be used and operated by adequately trained, qualified and authorized healthcare professionals for radiological guidance and visualization during diagnostic, interventional and surgical procedures. The system is designed for hospitals, surgical centers and clinics in the Philippines performing orthopedic, trauma, spine, joint and pain-management procedures, both inside and outside the operating room.

Manufactured by Nanjing Perlove Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., the PLX119C integrates the C-arm gantry and imaging workstation into a single compact frame that occupies roughly 1 m² of floor space, making it suitable for size-constrained operating rooms. Medisense supplies the PLX119C as an authorized Philippine distributor (Osyali Construction & Trading, Inc.).

• Large dynamic flat-panel detector: 30 cm × 30 cm (12" × 12") amorphous-silicon detector with a cesium-iodide scintillator; the imaging area is approximately 100% larger than a conventional 9" × 9" FPD, allowing a wider anatomical field in a single acquisition (for example, capturing five lumbar vertebrae or covering the pelvic region in one image).
• Image quality: 1956 × 1956 pixel matrix (approximately 3.8 megapixels), 154 µm pixel pitch and 16-bit analog-to-digital conversion for a wide gray-scale and dynamic range.

• C-arm geometry: 1000 mm source-to-image distance (SID); ±180° orbital (rail) rotation; ±15° swing-arm rotation; 200 mm horizontal (FR-arm) travel; 400 mm vertical (T-arm) travel; motorized, rotating collimator.
• Direct digital imaging: the dynamic FPD captures images directly without optical/camera conversion, helping to avoid information loss during image formation.
• Integrated workstation: all-in-one cart combining the gantry, generator and image-processing workstation with on-board monitor display.

Regulatory and safety standards

• Classified by the U.S. FDA as an image-intensified fluoroscopic X-ray system (21 CFR 892.1650, Class II, product code OWB); the PLX119C received FDA 510(k) clearance (K243411, May 19, 2025).
• Tested to IEC 60601-1-2 (EMC), IEC 60601-2-54, IEC 60601-1-3 and IEC 60601-2-43 safety standards.
• Indicated for use on all patients except neonates (birth to one month), within the limits of the device.
