Perlove PLX118WF C-Arm system with Dynamic detector

The Perlove PLX118WF is a mobile surgical C-arm X-ray imaging system built around a large-size amorphous-silicon (a-Si) dynamic flat panel detector (FPD). It is intended for use by trained medical professionals in operating rooms and procedure suites that require real-time intraoperative fluoroscopy and digital radiographic imaging. The system is used across departments such as orthopedic and joint surgery, spine surgery, trauma, pain management, general surgery, urology, and gastroenterology.

What the device does

The PLX118WF acquires live fluoroscopic and still radiographic images during procedures and displays them on a dual-monitor mobile workstation. The dynamic flat panel detector replaces the conventional image intensifier, capturing images with a wide dynamic range, extended grey-scale, low image noise, and reduced geometric distortion across the field of view. A high-frequency (HF) generator with VFP technology operates at approximately 110 kHz and includes a low-dose imaging mode, which is designed to manage the radiation output used to produce each image.
