Perlove PLX118F — Mobile C-Arm System with Dynamic Detector
The Perlove PLX118F is a high-frequency, floor-standing, wheel-mobile C-arm fluoroscopy system built around a 9" × 9" dynamic flat-panel detector (FPD). Manufactured by Nanjing Perlove Medical Equipment Co., Ltd., it is designed for intraoperative real-time X-ray imaging in hospitals and surgical centers, supporting orthopaedic procedures (fracture reduction, reset and fixation) and surgical, interventional, and catheterization workflows such as foreign-body localization, pacemaker implantation, and selected angiographic and spot imaging. Intended for use by trained radiographers, surgeons, and interventional clinicians.
The system pairs a 5.0 kW high-frequency monoblock generator with the dynamic flat-panel detector for a 9"×9" effective imaging field, replacing a conventional image intensifier with a flat, distortion-controlled imaging area. A GPU-based image processing platform (Perlove RCDP — Rapid Calculate Display Platform) handles real-time image processing, and a touch-screen interface with APR (Anatomical Programmed Radiography) presets supports on-unit parameter setup. The system supports a standard DICOM interface for connection to hospital PACS.
Key features and specifications
- Generator: combined high-frequency, high-voltage X-ray generator (monoblock), 5.0 kW output, main inverter frequency 110 kHz.
- Detector: 9" × 9" dynamic flat-panel detector (imported), giving a 9"×9" effective image area.
- Fluoroscopy (automatic & manual): tube voltage 40–120 kV; tube current 0.3–4 mA (auto-tracking or continuous).
- Pulsed fluoroscopy: 40–120 kV; 0.3–30 mA, continuously adjustable, for reduced-dose imaging.
- Radiography: 40–120 kV; 25–100 mA; 1.0–280 mAs.
- X-ray tube: high-frequency tube, fluoroscopy focal spot 0.3; anode thermal capacity 650 kJ (867 kHU).
- kV/mA auto-tracking: automatically adjusts brightness and sharpness during fluoroscopy.
- C-arm geometry: orbital (slip-on-orbit) rotation 135°; rotation around the horizontal axis ±180°; rotation around the vertical axis ±15°; forward/backward (horizontal) travel 200 mm; motorized column vertical stroke 400 mm; source-to-image distance (SID) 1000 mm; C-arm free (open) space 800 mm; C-arm arc depth 660 mm.
- Mobility: steering wheel rotates in any direction; main wheels rotate ±90°; electric auxiliary support arm on the base.
- Image software: Perlove RCDP GPU-based real-time processing — window/level adjustment, grayscale conversion, region-of-interest balance, rotation, noise reduction, edge enhancement, smoothing, sharpening, zoom, measurement, annotation/marking, print layout, and movie playback.
- Image handling: real-time acquisition, adjustable recursive filtering, multi-image storage, image stitching/patching, and Last Image Hold (LIH).
- Connectivity: standard DICOM interface; DICOM send and DICOM print; designed for connection to hospital/cloud PACS for image sharing and remote support.
- Display: three (3) × 19" medical-grade LCD grayscale monitors (inside/outside-room dual-cart arrangement).
- Controls: hand-held controller on the C-arm stand for parameter, movement, and collimator control; dual foot-brake exposure controller; laser/light beam localizer; electrically adjustable collimator (beam-limiting device).
