The Mindray TDR-X060 Automated Blood Culture System is a benchtop microbiology analyzer that automatically incubates, agitates, and continuously monitors blood-culture and sterile body-fluid bottles for microbial growth. It is built for hospital and reference microbiology laboratories, clinics, and diagnostic centers in the Philippines that need a compact, walk-away platform for bloodstream-infection workup. The system holds up to 60 culture bottle positions and uses Mindray's irreversible colorimetric detection technology together with multi-calculation algorithms to flag bottles as growth is detected, helping the laboratory manage turnaround without constant manual checking.

Each bottle sits in a temperature-controlled, drawer-type incubator with independent agitation. The enclosed drawer design reduces interference from the surrounding environment, and a dual heating system (solid heating bath plus air heating bath) is used to hold incubation temperature steady across the run. Loading is done in one step by scanning the bottle barcode and entering patient information at the 12-inch Windows-based touchscreen, and results can be transmitted through bidirectional LIS (Bi-LIS).
