The Mindray BS-230 is a fully automated, discrete random-access clinical chemistry analyzer (closed reagent system) designed for benchtop use in vitro diagnostic testing. It is built for trained laboratory personnel in small and medium-volume laboratories, clinics, and hospital departments that need reliable routine biochemistry testing in a compact footprint, and it also serves as a back-up unit for higher-volume labs. STAT sample priority lets urgent samples be processed ahead of the routine queue.
Measurement is based on absorbance photometry and turbidimetry via a halogen-tungsten lamp across 8 wavelengths (340, 405, 450, 510, 546, 578, 630, and 670 nm), supporting end-point, fixed-time, and kinetic methodologies in monochromatic or bi-chromatic mode. The system runs on original Mindray system-pack reagents (closed system) for consistent, traceable performance, and processes serum, plasma, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) samples for general chemistry assays.
