Mindray AP-100 Automated Dosing System

The Mindray AP-100 Automated Dosing System is a benchtop laboratory instrument that automates the dosing and dispensing of microbial suspensions into identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing (ID/AST) test plates. It is intended for clinical microbiology laboratories, hospital diagnostic labs, and reference laboratories in the Philippines that run manual or semi-automated ID/AST workflows and want to reduce hands-on pipetting time while improving consistency across test plates.

The AP-100 uses a syringe-and-pump dosing mechanism to aspirate and dispense the prepared inoculum, and its multi-position dispensing design handles the wells of a 96-format test plate with reduced manual intervention. Its compact footprint allows it to be operated inside a biosafety cabinet, supporting safe handling of microbial samples during the dosing step. A digital LED display indicates the selected test-plate category during operation.
