Mindray MT-8000 Total Laboratory Automation (TLA) System

The Mindray MT-8000 is a Total Laboratory Automation (TLA) system that connects sample handling and multiple analytical disciplines — clinical chemistry, immunoassay, coagulation, and hematology — into one intelligent, automated workflow. Built for medium-to-high-volume hospital laboratories and reference laboratories in the Philippines, it is designed to raise throughput, remove manual sample handling, and deliver consistent, traceable results across every shift.

A compact “three-in-one” input / output / bulk-input design fits in roughly 1 m² of floor space yet holds over 1,000 sample tubes at once, while a 4-lane sample transport moves up to ~14,400 tubes per hour — keeping even the busiest laboratory flowing without bottlenecks. Real-time RFID tracking follows every sample from load to result.

Pre-analytical automation

• Sample Input/Output module: 1,050-tube capacity (7×150), 850 tubes/hour; integrated input & output with visual identification, electric drawer and bulk input; double-compartment design ensures first-in-first-out flow with emergency-sample priority.
• Automatic decapper module: 850 tubes/hour with >3,000-cap waste capacity.
• Automatic centrifuge module: 80-tube capacity, 460 tubes/hour (7-minute cycle), up to 4,500 rpm / 4,300 g, temperature control 5–25 °C; silent, low-temperature design compatible with all 7 main tube types (EDTA, heparin, microcup and more).
• Smart sample quality inspection: automatic detection of hemolysis, lipemia, clots, sample volume and improper caps before analysis, flagging problem samples early.

Multi-discipline analytical modularity

• Clinical chemistry: up to 2,400 tests/hour (including ISE / electrolytes).
• Immunoassay: up to 500 tests/hour.
• Coagulation: up to 450 tests/hour.
• Hematology / cellular analysis: blood counts, smear preparation and morphology modules.
• Configurable module mix — build the line around your laboratory’s actual test menu and volume, and expand it as you grow.

Sample compatibility & tracking

• Accepts sample tubes from 30+ brands and all 7 main tube types.
• Real-time RFID tracking with unordered sample placement — no manual sorting required.
• Upgraded modules for bulk loading, decapping / recapping and refrigerated sample storage.

Digital management

An integrated software platform gives real-time visibility of sample status, results, workload, reagent inventory and QC metrics from PC, tablet or mobile — helping laboratories reduce manual errors, optimize resources, and improve turnaround time and result reliability.
