The Mindray BS-240Pro is a fully automated, benchtop clinical chemistry analyzer (closed system) designed for in vitro quantitative determination of clinical chemistry parameters in serum, plasma, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid. It is intended for use by trained laboratory personnel in hospital laboratories, diagnostic centers, clinics, and reference laboratories across the Philippines that need reliable random-access chemistry testing in a compact footprint.

Built around a grating photometer with a halogen-tungsten light source, the BS-240Pro performs absorbance photometry and turbidimetric measurements, with an optional Ion Selective Electrode (ISE) module for electrolytes (K+, Na+, Cl-). It delivers a constant throughput of 240 photometric tests per hour, expandable to up to 400 tests per hour when the ISE module is fitted. As a closed reagent system, it is configured to run with Mindray reagents for consistent, traceable performance.
