Why ultrasonic height measurement matters in a busy clinic

All three measure height with a non-contact ultrasonic sensor rather than a mechanical headpiece. There is nothing to lower onto the patient and nothing that wears out or drifts through repeated use. The SK-X50 is specified with a US-brand ultrasonic probe and no moving headpiece at all.

For a station being used by hundreds of people a week, removing the moving part is the difference between a device that stays accurate and one that needs recalibrating.

Choosing

The question is simply which measurements you want captured without staff involvement. The SK-L08 presents height, weight and BMI together on a 7-inch color touchscreen. The SK-L09 adds body temperature in the same guided session. The SK-X50 captures five measurements including blood pressure and body fat in one self-service session — which is what makes it suitable for annual company health screening, where the alternative is a nurse repeating the same four measurements all day.
