Choosing an ultrasound system comes down to where it has to be. A trolley system lives in a room; a portable system goes to the patient. Everything else follows from that. This guide compares the Medsinglong color Doppler systems we distribute in the Philippines.

Trolley or portable

  • The MSLCU46 is a trolley-mounted cart system with four activated probe connectors, so up to four transducers stay docked and ready. For a department scanning abdominal, obstetric, small-parts and vascular cases through the day, not swapping probes between patients is the practical difference.
  • The MSLCU45 is a portable, laptop-style full-digital color Doppler system supplied with convex, linear and transvaginal probes — built for clinics, bedside use and outreach work.

What the MSLCU46 gives you for the extra footprint

Displays 15″ high-resolution color LCD (1024×768) with left/right rotation and up/down tilt, plus a 10.4″ touch-screen control panel
Probe ports 4 activated transducer connectors with 4 removable holders; compatible with convex, linear array, transvaginal, micro-convex, phased array and 4D volume probes
Imaging modes B, 2B/4B, M, B/M, CDFI (color Doppler flow), PDI (power Doppler), CM, PW, CW, anatomical M-mode, panoramic and color panoramic, trapezoidal (linear probe)
Imaging technologies Tissue Harmonic Imaging (THI), Speckle Reduction Imaging (SRI), Spatial Compound Imaging (SCI), Frequency Compound Imaging (FCI), HR flow
Platform Linux-based with a 500 GB hard drive for onboard image and patient data storage; supports 2D, Doppler and real-time 3D/4D imaging
Mobility Height-appropriate mobile cart with locking casters and an integrated control console

The specification most people underweight: probe ports

Transducers, not the console, are where ultrasound budgets actually go, and a system is only as capable as the probes connected to it. Four activated ports means a phased-array probe for cardiac, a convex for abdominal, a linear for vascular and small parts, and a transvaginal all live on the machine at once.

A two-port system forces a choice every time the case mix changes — and probe connectors are not something you can add later.

When portable is the right answer

If scanning happens at the bedside, in more than one department, or on outreach, a cart is a liability rather than a feature. The MSLCU45 arrives with convex, linear and transvaginal probes as a complete set, which covers general abdominal, obstetric and small-parts work without further purchases.

A note on honesty: our published specification for the MSLCU45 is brief. If you are comparing it seriously against a trolley system, ask us and we will confirm the full imaging modes and probe frequencies against the manufacturer's current datasheet before you decide.

What is included

Osyali Construction and Trading, Inc. is an authorized Medsinglong distributor in the Philippines. Systems are supplied with nationwide delivery, installation and commissioning, operator orientation, and after-sales service. Additional probes are available for both platforms.
