The Lepu ADC ELISA range we distribute in the Philippines is scaled by microplate capacity, and that is the number in the model name.

The number is plates, not tests per hour

Lepu's ADC ELISA family spans the 200, 300, 400, 600 and 1100. We stock the 200, 400 and 600. The models are scaled by how many 96-well microplates the platform handles in a batch, which decides how long it runs unattended — not how fast a single plate is processed.

That distinction matters when you are sizing. A laboratory running two plates a day does not benefit from sixteen-plate capacity; a laboratory running serology batches overnight benefits from very little else.

Why disposable-tip pipetting is the specification to check

All three use air-displacement pipetting with single-use disposable tips, and the ELISA 400 adds real-time tip monitoring. In immunoassay work, sample-to-sample carry-over is the failure mode that quietly corrupts results rather than producing an obvious error. A fresh tip per transfer removes that pathway entirely.

For blood bank and serology workloads, where a false positive carries real consequences, this is worth more attention than the plate count.

What "walk-away" actually means here

On the ELISA 600, sample distribution, reagent addition, incubation, washing and reading run sequentially without manual transfer between modules — the washer and the reader are on the same platform as the pipettor. That is the difference between an automated workflow and a set of automated steps a technologist still has to carry plates between.

If your current setup is a separate washer and a separate reader, the consolidation is usually the reason to move, independent of capacity.
